These couples proved to us that they’re true to their vows first thing on their wedding day as they exchanged I Dos despite the Taal Volcano eruption on January 12, 2020. Whilst the towns around the volcano were busily preparing for safety against the dangers of the eruptions, these couples continued to their ceremonies. Coordinators and suppliers worked extra hard during the day not just to make sure the wedding runs smooth, but more importantly, ensure the safety of these couples and their guests worst come to worst. Talk about passion and love, right?

Photographer Peewee Torres shared these photos of his during Iza Tobias and Jezreel Autor’s intimate garden wedding at Le Jardin Rosella in Tagaytay around 4:30 pm. Despite the impending clouds, the couple managed to say their vows and had a stunning photoshoot with the volcano’s smokes in the background before the sunsets.

Shootme Photo also shared their captured photo of couple Aaron and Rachel showing, that even kilometers from the Taal Volcano itself, the majestic clouds produced by its sudden eruption. The couple had their ceremony in Parish of the Most Holy Trinity, more than 20km from the volcano.

Chino Vaflor and Kat Bautista Palomar’s wedding photos also circulated most social media platforms that day and they were beautifully captured by Randolf Evan Photo, a Manila-based photographer. The couple had an intimate garden wedding only roughly 10km away from the Taal Volcano. Amazingly, the crew and suppliers were calm throughout the event and successfully managed the couple’s nuptials.

These weddings were only proofs of how much love can conquer. Even with the fear of an impending eruption, brides and grooms bravely stepped forward and welcomed their partners on the altar. Because they knew that if they could face something like a volcano eruption, they could surpass almost any problem they could face in their life together.
